MISSIONS
Part of our mission is to impact our world profoundly for Jesus Christ, one person at a time.  Jesus calls us to "be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)  Southside supports and participates in several local and international missions.

International Missions
Hope 4 Kids International: Committed to serving impoverished children around the world by leading teams on two-week missions equipped with essential medical and dental supplies and other provisions. In addition, Hope 4 Kids has multiple ongoing long-term economic, spiritual, orphan and feeding programs in an effort to carry our message of hope through these outreaches. For more information, visit http://www.hope4kidsinternational.org/

Southside’s annual Uganda Mission trip is done through Hope 4 Kids. For more information about the mission trip click here.

Southside also supports two pastors (Pastor Justus and Pastor Noah) who currently serve in two local Ugandan churches Southside has helped establish.

Wycliffe Bible Translators: Today about 200 million people do not have the Bible in their own language. Wycliffe’s vision is to see the Bible accessible to all people in the language they understand best. To make this vision a reality, Wycliffe also focuses on community development, literacy development and church partnerships. Visit http://www.wycliffe.org/

Middle East Gospel Outreach: An International Christian outreach to the Middle East, Europe and North Africa, producing the Good News Program (broadcast via satellite daily to 180 countries, and on prime time every Friday evening in the Middle East in the Arabic tongue. Mission India: India's Christians are capable and committed to carrying the Gospel into their communities. They know the languages and customs and can work effectively in sensitive areas where a Western missionary could never set foot. Mission India provides these dedicated believers with essential training and materials to spread God’s kingdom in India. Visit http://www.missionindia.org/

Campus Crusade for Christ (Damien Long): Athletes In Action is the sports division of Campus Crusade for Christ International. AIA's outreach range includes ministry to college and professional athletes and coaches globally across a great number of sports. Damian graduated from Harvard and now works with Campus Crusade in Kazakhstan to bring the gospel to Central Asia through basketball.  Visit http://www.ccci.org/

Gospel for Asia: Trains and sends native missionaries already familiar with the language and culture who live at the level of the people they serve, thus removing many social barriers. 100 percent of the money you donate for work on the mission field goes to the field. Nothing is taken out for administrative expenses.  Visit http://www.gfa.org

Frontier Internship In Mission: involves young people in two-year projects, in contemporary situations (“frontiers”) where the witness of the Christian gospel is needed, dealing with significant cultural, religious, economic, social and political issues.  Visit http://www.tfim.org/
